The present study was coducted to evaluate the outcome and complications of Z plasty in pilonidal cyst repair.&#13;
Methods. Sixty patients with pilonidal cyst were selected and repaired by Z plasty method in Al-Zahra hospital (affiliated to Isfahan University of Medical Sciences and Health Services). The patients were followed for 6 months and complications such as seruma, infection and replapse wre evaluated.&#13;
Results. The incidence of seruma, infection and relapse after Z plasty was 6.6, 1.6 and 3.4 percent, respectively.&#13;
Discussion. Z plasty is a choice operation for pilonidal cyst repair.</abstract><web_url>http://jrms.mui.ac.ir/index.php/jrms/article/view/3520</web_url></Article></Articles>
