In recent years, the nihilism toward the care of stroke patients has been replaced by a remarkable understanding of the underlying stroke mechanism leading to significant improvement in its management. The aim of this article is to introduce stroke units and at the end, recommendations for stroke unit establishment in Isfahan, the second greatest city of Iran.
